Untappd - Discover Beer App Reviews

Ive been using this app for a few years now and love it. Makes it easy to find new beers. I would love a way to be able to check into breweries through the app and not a 3rd party app so I can keep track of the breweries Ive visited. Keep up the good work

Since most users dont leave worthwhile reviews, and I dont want to sift through a bunch of random lo-res user pics - its usually impossible to tell what the beer is supposed to taste like. You just get a general style - which isnt really informative with all of the adjuncts people are using now.

You can cheers you friends and you try to get more badges then them!

Easy to use! Great for keeping track of all that craft beer

The regular internet is better than this app update it so its more user friendly!

If anyone rates the app any lower than 5, they are not true beer connoisseurs. Untapped offers a lot. Well done and keeps getting better.

I use it pretty regularly but would use it more if the social aspects were better, and if it was easier to navigate. Its impossible to find friends without know their username. Finding beers and breweries is easier but still not smart enough.

Nice to have a record of all craft brews I have consumed.

I love this app; its fun, easy to use. It allows me to search, rate, upload photos of and keep track of beers Ive had. Also allows you to check in at the location youre drinking. There are also lots of fun badges to earn, as you go. Ive also found it handy when Im trying to remember a certain beer I really liked. I also like that below the name of the beer, it also includes what style of beer it is.

I love this app and think its a lot of fun. Easy to use and encourages you to try new beer. A few requests: the UI does feel a little outdated. Not awful, but could use some minor enhancements. Secondly, it would be awesome if when you went to check-in a beer you could see which of your friends had checked it in! Same for the badges page. Id love to be able to go to my page and click on a badge and see where my friends are at on it. Thanks!

Cant invite friends via email. This would be a "social app" if that feature actually worked.

This app continues to be a fun way for me to track my journey through Americas craft beer movement! Beyond a mere memory token for beer, locations and events of yesterday, untappd has helped me fine tune my brew tastes within a sea of craft brew varieties and styles.

The app works only about half the time. Other half it wont load anything (not an internet access issue). Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it wont accept my username/password and wont let me reset my password. Not sure what to do at this point...

The search function is broken. All inquiries come back as nothing found. Also, why can I search the best beers in each state??

I love this app. It works great - I can easily log my beers and always finds what Im drinking. Im up to almost 500 unique beers and only one time did it not have the beer I was drinking. Its fun to get badges and keep track of new beers you try. Id love to be able to download my beer list. Ill have to look into that. My only wish is that more of my friends had the app!

Fantastic- really helpful whenever Im choosing a dinner stop, also for helping make decisions in this (wonderful) age where 50+ beer options at locations has become common. No technical and/or login issues for me after 1.5 years of use and 100s of check-ins.

A useful app. Would be nice to be able to DM friends. The barcode feature is great.

Ive tried all the other beer logging apps and this one is by far the best. The GUI is well designed, the layout and locations of things make sense, and the badges make things fun. Its fun going to a brewery to find out that they have a special badge that you can unlock. Makes enjoying beer a social activity and lets you keep track of the ones you have tried.

UT needs an upgrade to how it posts photos. It utilizes such a small window of the photo that it looks terrible in the feed. Why not overlay all (rating, like and comment) information on top of the photo?
