Untappd - Discover Beer App Reviews

I love this app. It has saved me from trying bad beer that I could not remember if I have had or not. The best thing is finding new and interesting beers with its suggestions. Also it can help you find your favorite beers nearby. I was surprised to find out a local deli was selling me of my favorites Firestone Walker Unfiltered DBA. They also had great sandwiches!

I love the UNTAPPD app and have been using it religiously for over a year. The rating features are awesome and I love looking back at my posts as a beer journal. Finding beers has never worked good. More locations seem to use TapHunter and update their lists regularly. Why dont the 2 companies work together? I would love to see UNTAPPD ratings in TapHunter. I would love to see TapHunter tap lists in UNTAPPD. I would also like a feature to suggest my favorite locations be contacted as a lead to participate in your tap list feature.

If youre into making lists of your favorite pieces of culture -- via IMDb, allmusic, goodreads, spreadsheets, etc. -- and you like beer, then youll love untappd. The interface is great. You can see what your friends are drinking and how they feel about it. You can look at all of the brews from each brewery (micro and macro), what the average ratings of those beers are, and more. You can search a venue with a rotating beer list to see what people are enjoying there, so when you show up to the venue and havent heard of anything, you can see what has gone over well and what hasnt as much. Theres also a wish list function and "badges," which are kind of silly, but make it a little more fun to drink and check in to untappd. Only problem is it has been a little bit slow to load when you hit the back arrow.

I live in Untappd, but right now, its stuck on the search screen. Wont load history or return search results. It worked last night; the iOS update is the only thing that has changed on my phone.

This makes being an alcoholic fun. Also, pretty colors.

Played with it for a few weeks now. Awesome app!

Really helps track new beers, and shares with family and friends new flavors so available. Allows comments, and ratings to help others decide. Quick and easy to log on.

I really like your app. I would recommend that you add a feature that facilitates bottle sharing between users at selected venues. Users would list bottles they want to enjoy at a particular venue and preplanned or serendipitous meetings of likeminded beer enthusiasts could occur. It would boost sales of high priced, large bottles, create dedicated patrons of venues with unique bottle offerings, educate users, and make it more likely that users will try something different and exciting.

this is the best Ive found of beer apps that exist. its got a great database but unfortunately the interface is stilling lacking...

Had a little trouble getting in after the update, but the support staff was engaged and friendly. Really like the app. Discovering new beer is a ton of fun!

Untapped is easily one of my favorite apps. As a beer lover I dont know what I would do without it- from logging beers, competing with friends, keeping track of what Ive liked, disliked and loved, Untapped has anything a beer lover, or even beer drinker, could ever need. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Love this app. My wife knows when Im served a beer, the first thing I do is log it, rate it, and snap a picture of it for Untappd.

This app is absolutely amazing! The interface is super user-friendly and seamlessly adds the overall friends experience!! I have been using the app for almost a year now and have linked to many of my Facebook friends on it. The ability to view your friends reviews before you try a beer is a HUGE plus! Love the barcode scan too.

Crashes a lot, especially when trying to peruse the offerings of local establishments. Please fix it soon. I love the app.

Getting to check in & review beers is great.....so is earning badges! The bad part.....I can not message anyone or invite friends to be friends not in the app........complete FAIL for the app :(

For those nights where you cant remember what you drank... And also for those beer snobs like me looking to keep better track. Either way, its good to have goals (and data. Always data).

Removed basic functionality. One can not apparently check in on the front page. I still havent figured out where it is.

9-22-2016 - App has come a long way and works great. I just want iPad support for both horizontal and vertical screen views (portrait/landscape views). Very frustrating!!! 8/6/2015 - Still no fix for latest version. Cannot check into beers among other problems. 8/2/2015 - Latest version is broken, so I hope it gets fixed fast. I still want iPad version of this app, so very disappointing that this has not happened yet. Original Review - This app is great, but please update it with iPad screen support. It is only in portrait mode, like a cell phone, but with an iPad, I want the app to be able to toggle between portrait and landscape. Please, please, please bring us this capability. Thank you!
